Def Lepard – Hysteria, KISS – The Sky Is Burning, Meatloaf – Speaking In Tongues, Iron Maiden – Can I Play With Madness, Black Sabbath – Dirt Young, Danzig – Mother, Queen and dance” is late.
The cable broke so I found this by accident
Peacock is not my usual streamer but I got a good price for it. Anyway, I wasn’t expecting much, but I love a good horror comedy and this was better than I expected. I love that it was set in the 1980s because it gave her a "leave it to the beaver" feel it The parents are what you’d expect from an 80s TV show.
The other story is about all the adults going into frothy religious hysteria (get it) about their children
When a teenage soccer star goes missing and is later found ritually dead, two parallel stories begin to unfold. Three outcasts who have a hard rock band that no one goes to decide to use it as a way to promote their band. They convince everyone that they are satanists acting in the heat of the moment, but then make them prime suspects in a murder.
The two main people are Linda and Tracy
Tracy is a good villain because she is perfectly willing to use Linda’s fear of not understanding her son and his choices to send the town into hysteria. The show isn’t perfect, but it does make interesting points about how parents are afraid of not understanding their children, not following the plan for them. But it also shows that there are real dangers masked by fear and paranoia.
