Struggling with his dual identity, failed comedian Arthur Fleck meets the love of his life, Harley Quinn, while incarcerated at Arkham State Hospital. Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson and writer-director Todd Phillips share what scared them the most while tackling the musical sequel. . The film is subtitled "Folie a Deux" means "Madness of Two" In French. This initially led to speculation about Harley Quinn appearing in the film, which was confirmed shortly after.
Instead of Gotham City
The name Folie a Deux comes from the 19th century French psychiatrists Charles Lassegue and Jules Falret. The term was coined to refer to two or more people who share the same obsession or delusion. Also called Lasègue-Falret syndrome. This is because New York State is the plaintiff in a criminal trial, and this version of Gotham City is clearly located in New York State (most versions place Gotham in New Jersey). The movie was a complete thorn
The film opens with a Looney Tunes title sequence featuring the ringed Warner Bros logo and the Joker’s face. AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: The Wicked Discovery of a Lifetime (2022). Merrily We Roll Along was written by Eddie Cantor, Murray Mencher and Charles Tobias. It was a complete waste of time. As a huge Joker fan, I expected a strong comeback after five years.
Save time and money
Just when I thought the movie was going to get better, it got worse. Joaquin Phoenix’s performance is great, but the script is terrible. Through no fault of his own, Joker Foley A Dukes is one of the worst sequels of all time. The movie seemed like a showcase of Lady Gaga’s singing and acting abilities, and it wasn’t great. I believe this could be the biggest box office flop of 2024.
