Referenced in Shrine of Telly: Week 3 (2022)
Originally set to be picked up by CBS for a series order in 2020, it was canceled shortly before filming the first episode due to COVID. It has now been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, “The Brass Verdict.” Mickey Haller owns several cars, all with personalized California license plates with legal terms on them. California personalized plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all of Mickey’s plates have at least eight.
I have to say, I really enjoyed watching The Lincoln Lawyer
It’s about a down-on-his-luck lawyer named Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) who takes over a successful law firm after the lawyer in charge is murdered and leaves his entire firm, including all of his clients, to Haller. Haller practically drives out of his Lincoln (hence the name The Lincoln Lawyer). He takes on all of Tyler’s cases, some big, some small.
This show did so well that it was quickly renewed for a second season
Even though some of them are unbelievable, you’ll still have a great time watching this. The second season just came out and so far it’s as good, if not better, than the first. The final season of “What We Do in the Shadows” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres of this month.
